Why We Started
Pelvic floor disorders can drastically alter a person’s quality of life to the point of mental and physical debilitation.
Before launching Cosm, Derek Sham (Founder & CEO) worked for a decade creating and commercializing urological products including the most utilized urodynamics system in the world.
During that time, his grandmother's life was drastically altered by her pelvic health. She inspires our path to creating a microcosm of technology to advance the macrocosm of female pelvic health.
We honor her memory by living her embodied values of data-driven learning, courage in adversity, and compassion.
